Ok... I’m going to get the 2.3 MT and was curious if anyone has a perspective on arm room to shift with center console..

I looked at a Jeep a couple years ago but ultimately decided not to get it cause it felt like you were right up against the front windshield... if that makes any sense.

Not a Jeep hater and even with the Bronco I think jeeps are cool...

The first time I test drove a LJ I felt the same. I own one now and actually don't notice anymore.

Good question about shifting with the console...might be one of those questions that goes unanswered until we start driving our Broncos

Maybe someone remembers the ride along video where the driver was rowing the gears.
Well anyway, didn't seem to be having any trouble shifting.

I have manual in my lancer. The console isn’t the issue, but I hit my water bottle often which sits about the same location as the Bronco cup holder.

I was wondering about this very thing. When I stop to get my super sized fountain drink from the convenience store, it's it going to be all in the way when I'm shifting?

My biggest worry is how close will the drivers seat be to the wheel. My wife isn’t overly short but she had to get uncomfortably close to the wheel in our Legacy GT. I’m hoping with the upright driving position the bronco will be better.

I had that problem in a mustang several years back that I test drove. 5.0/manual I felt extremely close to the wheel once I got the seat in a position where I could properly control the clutch pedal. Gas/brake (had it been an auto car), I could've moved the seat back a bit more. I ended up passing on it, for several reasons, and went Challenger R/T.

Did I read somewhere the Bronco steering wheel is adjustable possibly telescoping?

It's in the Ford specs, manual tilt and telescope.
