id like auto on demand, but id also like to avoid the lower axle ratio cause it seems like it is going to eat gas to the tune of about 15%
in obx

3.73 -> 4.27 ~ 14.4% more revolutions for the same tires
a nice 20/24 turns into 17/20 just for auto on demand 4wd

You'll only be seeing those higher revs when you are in high gear.... on the highway. Otherwise, the 10 speed auto will keep the engine revs very similar during normal driving.
Unless you do a lot of 80+ mph driving, you're unlikely to see a mpg difference with the different gears.

As you pointed out...

AVAILABLE FINAL DRIVE RATIOS
Outer Banks 3.73:1/4.27:1 4.70:1

But if you Sasquatch it and get the 4.7 but with larger Tires... would it not basically equal itself out? Guess you'd have to use one of those Calcs to include the Tire Sizes to determine your RPMs say at Freeway speeds.

If MPG is a high priority, then I would stick with the 2.3 and the 3.73 even though 4A IS a really nice feature.
