It’s more a principle thing for me. It’s just so stupid. I just hope there’s some way to defeat it. It will piss me off every time I have to press a button to keep my car from turning itself off. I can’t think of anything more annoying, actually. These are the types of things that keep me in old cars. This is the only knock against the Bronco for me so far.
You seriously “can’t think of anything more annoying?” In today’s world? That must be so damn nice.

Ill say it again, auto start/stop sucks, I hate it and I don't want it on my Bronco.

After I start it, I don't want to have to press a button to keep it from turning itself off.

Why? Because that's freaking stupid as hell. Thats why.

But, it looks like there's a way to defeat it so I don't have to press that button everytime and so I think Im good! :)

Don't bother wasting your time trying to convince me its not that bad or whatever, because regardless, its still STUPID AS HELL.

Listen man, just quoting your exact words. I’m not the one stomping my feet and crossing my arms over pressing a button ?

Put it on neutral as you glide to the stop light. It shouldn't shut off

Hopefully it will be disabled in 4L. Otherwise it could make for some awkward moments if you forgot to push the button when getting to that first nasty off-road section

It's 2020, a car should easily have an option to turn it on and off. So for those of you that like it, keep it on. But if I am paying a boatload for a new vehicle, it should be my choice to turn that shitty feature off.

Ok well that's how I drive a stick anyway but I thought someone said you have to have push the clutch in to keep it from turning off. But thats the whole point of putting it in neutral so I don't have to keep my foot on the clutch!
