It seems like on the manual as long as the clutch is pushed in it doesn't auto stop. I thought I didn't even have it until I lazy ass rolled neutral into a light and and didn't put it in gear while waiting.
100 dollar push button emulator from Stickerfab will take care of the issue for those tired of pushing the button.

Just save the 4 bucks and turn the steering wheel st a light. That way also deactivates A/S/SJust plug something like an LED nightlight into the 110v outlet. It will kill the A/S/S and only cost you about $4.00. Been doing this for over a year now with my Ranger.
