What I like about my new 22 Tacoā¦ is you turn off all that lane, blind spot-everything else onceā¦. And never hear from it again. Still trying to get ised to these push start buttons though. The only thing I like more about driving my Tacoma vs my dads Ranger is that the Taco DOES NOT do the annoying, jolting stop start constantly. I'll try to get used to it but I'll likely disable it in some manner. Really dumb feature, IMO.
Chip shortage. Lots of things getting deleted from newer vehicles due to this.I saw an Explorer on the lot recently that had an āauto start stop deleteā on the sticker
I have it in my ā19 transit connect work van and it gets annoying. When itās hot outside and you have the ac on it shuts the ac off. You get what is basically hot dog breath coming out of the vents. Same thing in the winter you lose the heat. If I forget to push the button on startup I push it the moment it shuts off the first time.Don't really understand some of you guys' allergies to auto start/stop. it's really not bad and not even noticeable at a certain point. I disable it if I'm doing any off roading but for every day use, it's fine.
It seemed more like an optionChip shortage. Lots of things getting deleted from newer vehicles due to this.
Itās not. Thatās just what happens with constraintsIt seemed more like an option
Most people get used to it, donāt notice it, like the fuel savings. If youāre grumpy about it, turn it off.thanks for the replies. Such crap that Ford forces that on you...
Well, since you know everything...Itās not. Thatās just what happens with constraints
ASS; perfect acronym.A.S.S. won't activate if there's a power draw.
It's a feature which allows manufacturers to sell more starters.I am unfamiliar with this feature. Is it a gas saving device and if so does anyone know what percentage of improvement it is supposed to yield?
Yes...it's coming...Camel's nose under the tent. Presages a future date when someone else will electronically decide when you have driven enough for the day/week/year
