THANKS sounds like some easy workaround's .My '19 Ranger has it. There is a button to turn it off but you have to press it each time you start the vehicle. Other work-arounds is they make a dummy plug for one of the 12v....with something plugged in it will disable auto start/stop. Worse can you can just ForScan the computer and remove it that way.
Threads merged.Just wondering if anyone has seen this or heard if the bronco will have this feature? I know most Fords and new cars do but it’s very annoying imo. I always turn it off.
I have it on my 2016 M3 manual. There is a disable button next to the push button ignition that enables or disables and it remembers the last setting. Also had it on my Focus RS. Same functionality as the M3.Doubt it is on the manual. I have yet to see a auto start stop on a manual personally. May be out there somewhere but think there would be to much liability if something happened.
Manual has them as well. It's on my focus rs.Doubt it is on the manual. I have yet to see a auto start stop on a manual personally. May be out there somewhere but think there would be to much liability if something happened.
That does sound a lot better than with automatics.Yup manuals have it and it actually works better than it does on an auto. Car stays running in gear. It'll shut off if you pop into neutral and release the clutch. Car fires back up the moment you start to press the clutch so it goes from almost no wait time with an automatic to literally zero wait time with a manual.
I have it in both my RS and my '19 F150 work truck. I don't understand why everyone complains so much about it. You barely even notice it and can turn it off in half a second with a button.
I've never had it in a manual, but if it only shuts off in neutral with clutch out and starts as soon as clutch is engaged, plus with the ability to disable altogether, sounds doable.Yup manuals have it and it actually works better than it does on an auto.
