I have manual and i think it stops about once a week, clutch out and in neutral, (which i rarely am in) thought that was your issue

First time it happened i thought something broke.. that's how infrequent it stops

I have found a few times at drive throughs mine hasn’t stoppe, which is when I really want it to work. Overall in city driving you gain about 8 to 10%. So about 1.7mpg for most of us. I wish my truck had it for sure.

Solved it whoever said turn down ac it worked stop start functioning normal again
