So I got my Bronco and it's the wife's turn.
We are looking at an Edge GT with the 2.7 or a Lincoln Aviator 3.0 to replace our 2018 Explorer.
We can get either with a $50 credit for ASS delete.
I used Forscan to delete the ASS on my Bronco.
My question, does the ASS delete also delete the HD EFB Battery and HD Starter?
If so I'll pay the $50 bucks and get the HD components and delete the ASS, like I did on my Bronco.
Thanks,

Thanks, That's probably what I was going to do rather than use forscan.
Although the Code modifications look to be the same as on the Bronco.
My question though is if anyone knows if Ford uses the HD Batt. and Starter if you choose the ASS delete to only save $50?
I guess I can do a parts search and compare the options and part #'s.
I know NAPA has different options for Batt and starter for the 2021 Explorer.
Edit: I guess when you spend $60,000 for a car another $150 bucks isn't squat.
More curiosity than anything.

Press ASS button, disabled, repeat. Not hard to remember and if you forget you’re saving the planet!

There's a new ASS eliminator that came out on Amazon that's $50. You don't have to take anything apart and it installs under 5 minutes above the kick panel on the driver side.

These work different than the forscan "fix" I believe. These plug-in eliminators, basically re-push the off button on the startup.

The Forscan tricks the Bronco and to going into Start stop mode by thinking that you are providing input (I think it's turning the steering wheel).

I installed the $50 one off Amazon. Easy to install. Works great so far.

I installed the autostop eliminator because it is a simple plug 'n play. Auto stop stays off when activated, NEVER comes back on unless you want it to. If I ever decided to sell my Bronco, the purchaser will have the choice to use ASS or not.

Can someone show pictures on where this Amazon eliminator installs. I have one but have not had a chance to install it.

FWIW, on my 2018 Raptor there is a trailer light connector right under the dash behind the OBD port (that if you disconnect) ASS will no longer engage as the truck thinks you have a trailer attached and apparently ASS is auto disabled for towing. It's been awhile, but you could likely find the thread over at FordRaptorForum.com. Unplugging the trailer lights connector does not effect anything else (at least on my 2018) and should you decide to tow just plug it back in. No idea if this would work on the Bronco (with tow package) or not but might be worth a look?

Another hack was to run a jumper wire between the connectors of the side mirror LED (zone lighting) so you can turn them on at any speed.

Apologies to OP for straying, just killing time while waiting on Bronco...

Ford Bronco Auto Start Stop Delete? IMG_3091

See pics above.
Installs on the corresponding wire harness on driver’s side kick panel. There are 2 identical plugs - use the one toward the rear of the vehicle.

Yeah if you look just above your driver side kick panel, you'll see a little box with two plugs in it. You unplug one of those, plug in their pigtail, and then double back tape their box to a nearby flat spot (just like the instructions in the previous post)

I went through the trouble every moving my kick panel because I had done it before, but I don't think you even have to do that which would have made this a 5-minute install.
