āwhich one did you buy ? I have a 2026 OBXLucky, I paid $50 for the auto start/stop eliminator to get it to stop.

Alternator has no issue keeping ours above that threshold, but then it mostly goes on longer drives of 40+ minutes every time. If you're short-tripping it all the time, no, it won't keep it charged, but that goes for basically any alternator, not just those with BMS.Mine rarely works unless I been driving on the interstate for a while. As I understand it, the threshold voltage where it works or doesnt work is so low that your alternator is not able keep the battery above that threshold. As the battery gets older the issue become more pronounced due to the declining state of the battery. You could throw a trickle charger on it overnight if you arfe determined to have it work. Me, I never use it anyway so I dont worry about it. Good luck.
Itās your lucky day.Well, the Auto Stop worked for the first day after the new battery install, but it hasnāt worked since then.![]()
have the battery tested. the ASS stops working when the battery starts to fail. mine was replace under warrantyI have a 2024 Badlands with 19K miles, and the auto stop/start isnāt working. While Iām enjoying not having to switch it off manually, I wonder if this is indicative of another problem or problems that maybe havenāt surfaced yet.
You possibly have a parasitic draw (something electrical in your Bronco that is not fully turning off or shorting) that is draining your battery. Go to the AS/S menu while you are driving and see if it says it's not stopping due to vehicle charging.Well, the Auto Stop worked for the first day after the new battery install, but it hasnāt worked since then.![]()
I donāt know why, but Iāve dug around for the AS/S menu, and I canāt find it.You possibly have a parasitic draw (something electrical in your Bronco that is not fully turning off or shorting) that is draining your battery. If it's draining it below what AS/S will do in a day or two, it's something that will damage your battery and leave you stranded.
I've noticed if its above around 83 outside temp it disables auto start stop.Found it!
āEngine on due to outside air temperatureā
I guess auto start stop doesnāt work if itās too hot outside? Itās 92 here at the moment.
