So there are six included/available factory installed auxiliary switches (depending on the model you are getting) for the new Broncos. I for one will probably not be mounting six switches worth of aftermarket lighting to my Bronco. So I am looking for other ideas for how to put these switches to use.

I have heard a few ideas already, such as running a mini fridge or winches. What are some other good uses for these switches?

Or what about less practical, but nonetheless amusing uses for them? I was thinking about labeling one of the buttons “DO NOT TOUCH!” and also rigging it to spray water in the passenger’s face if they flip it.

So let’s hear everybody’s ideas!!

At least one of my switches is going to find its way to a garage door transmitter. Hoping to take advantage of aftermarket fog light offerings for the modular bumper, will wire another switch to those.
Saw your post. Were you able to wire on a garage door opener? 4/4 build hopefully will be delivered by end of May.

I ran out of upfitters, just like I said I would. Custom fabricobbled a mount for my lightbar to free up switches.

Ford really needs a bank with 12 toggles.

These lights that I just installed today in about 45 minutes. The picture is from a friends Bronco as I’m done for the night and too lazy to go down to the garage and take pictures right now.

They add a cool factor.

This seems to be a popular option but I don’t see any need. I’ve heard of using them for lights and winches, but I’m not interested in adding lights and the factory winch doesn’t use the AUX switches. What am I missing?

Ummm if you don't feel like adding anything then they are useless. I plan on doing some fog lights, possibly spots and depending on how much mud/trails in the fall winter ill need more, since I live in the PNW that gets darkest 4pm for a few months.

I need to figure out how to make one spray water on the passenger. Label it "do not touch" and watch them learn a lesson.

I read it somewhere that each Aux switch has a certain fuse rating. I'll try and find it. But if I do get the BD with the Aux switches, I'll have something like the below:
1. Front bumper lights.
2. Rear rack or bumper lights.
3. Side lights.
4. Compressor.
5. Thinking of putting a wireless charging pad somewhere in the centre console. So maybe that.
You don't need for the wireless charging pad. Mabett has one just remove the center console , unplug from the charging port and plug in the wireless pad to that.
