Won't crawl as well as a 1/10 scale obviously but I have another mini crawler that I like to just drive around the house with haha.

yeah i have the scx10iii gladiator. never plan to do comps so I enjoy the longer wheel base on the gladiator for an RC. better at crawling up a rock but have to pay more attention to my lines so i dont get high centered haha.

My kids have the same model with the different body styles. They work okay, considering the size and lack of weight. There's a whole industry for brass parts made in China to help with motoring.

FYI, Chevy and Jeep charge a $10 to $25 upcharge for licensing the C10, Wrangler, and Gladiator. Ford won't be outdone: the Bronco body is $35 extra. o_O

The 24 scales are really fun because you can turn just about anything into an obstical. The 10 scales are just to large and reaquire "real" obstacles, which can be a bit harder to find depending on where you live.

I will tell you, I am not very happy with my Axial Deadbolt scx24. I've gone through about 4 motors (lasted about 6-8 weeks with light use), and they are very tippy. In the end, i had to add a bunch of brass weights and a furetek motor conversion kit to make it reliable enough to actually use it.

I'm not saying don't buy one, cuz they're a ton of fun. I'm just saying be prepared to drop another $100+ on upgrades .

Yup I have a small Panda Hobby Bronco just to mess around with in the house and office. but anything outside I usually just play with my scx10. last upgrades i did to it was swap out the dig servo to a reefs, swap to a hobbywing 1080, and I have 2 different Holmes Hobby motors I swap out depending on what i'm doing. Oh lifted it a little too since the gladiator high centers a lot due to the long wheel base. I was putting off getting the Club 5 fender deletes but now i am just waiting for it to come back in stock. lol endless upgrades.
