I'm switching to Badlands, and it let's me build it EXACTLY how I wanted it, sorry to everyone else who is having issues with the combos.

Thing that has me excited is the words "crank in gear" with the manual. I really hope this is where it will start with the clutch engaged to the motor so all you have to do is push start and gas it if you stall it out on a steep incline. Used to bypass the safety switches on our Toyota crawlers so we could do this. Kinda makes sense why no remote start if so.

my plan is a 21 mach 1 next year, and 2 years after, so 2023, a 4dr for the wife to replace that POS 4runner (good but boring vehcile), and if money allows at some point a 2dr for me because I really need a 4th bronco for some reason. That'll put my ranch at 6 horses, 2 mustangs and 4 broncos.
Good plan bro!

Plan B could be get Muscle now, wait for the kinks to be ironed out and get one in the future

Badlands Pros: High Package, Sta-bar disconnect, Signature LED lighting

Anyone else in this predicament?
I'm deciding between squatched BD or squatched BL and it's really tough to justify the >$3k difference in price when I don't want/need High or Lux. Especially since cheap manual aftermarket disconnects should be widely available relatively quickly.

Was going between DiamondManSquatch and Badmans. Since B&P does not allow for the selection of the late availability mansquatch I am going with Badman. I need a new automobile and although I am patient late 21 is too far out.

Talked it over with the wife since we ade both work from home until further notice and the below is what we will be ordering.

4door Badlands 2.3 I4 with 7spd. MIC hardtop and Mid package in A51.

Let me ask you Badlanders this:

So I had my heart set on a Badlands, but the interior options for some of the others are just NICE!

I drive an Audi Q5 now but fell in love with off-roading when I rented a rubicon in Sedona in August with my 4 (now 5) year old son.

I'm self-employed and DO plan on offroading with him or friends at least once a month or so.

For Moderate trails, Rocksteps etc (not hardcore rock crawling though) is the Sway Bar Still a good idea, or am I fine w/o it? It was GREAT just crawling over EVERYTHING with the Rubicon, and I enjoyed that feeling of freedom.

Just trying to figure out which direction I want to go. (Badlands, or maybe Outer Banks with Squatch?)

Thanks in advance!

for moderate trails any of the Broncos would work. a badlands would work better, and could do slightly harder trails. a badsquatch would work even better and could do even harder trails.

Of course, a base can be modified to do any trail that any stock bronco could do, even a badsquatch.

get the stuff you don't want to modify to be what you want first. if you don't like the interior of the badlands, then go for a different one. upgrading suspension is relatively easier then custom interiors, and is fun work to do yourself.

My Badlands ?

Total build $53,440 MSRP. I’ll be getting this on the Z-Plan (Ford Retirees) so, I guess about 6% lower from what I’ve read.

Dumb question... It might have been discussed before. Sorry if it has been.

I dont do extreme or hardcore off roading. Therefore, i got no need for the squash package... But i wonder if i really need the 2.7 for a 2dr? Or i can manage with the 2.3?

I could invest the money in a higher package or accessories instead.

Everyone can manage with the 2.3L. It's plenty of power. You'll be fine. Especially on a non-sasquatched 2D. Get your accessories.

If you're getting an auto already, the 2.7 is a no-brainer price wise.

Auto and 2.7 for me in my 2-Door. Maybe overkill, but my co-worker just bought a Jeep Hellcat (707 HP). Can't touch that, but mine will be impressive to say the least.

Question: Does anyone know if there will be some sort of badge for the motor size on the exterior? Would love to see an EcoBoost 2.7L Twin Turbo badge on my Badlands.

This may be a dumb question but does anyone know if the trail turn assist and related features that go with the 10 speed come on the badlands ? I noticed in the interior pics that the wildtrak has the button on the upper dash for trail turn assist but the badlands doesn't.
