Not sure about Sasquatch Package, I'll wait to see cost

I chose Badlands because of rubber flooring/vinyl seats/Lux Package combo. I also reserved a 4D Black Diamond, in case we can add some of the High/Lux items a la carte.

I think it's silly that Outer Banks doesn't come with the rubber flooring/vinyl seats. I would expect that something named after a series of beaches would facilitate getting wet/sandy and not messing up your interior. Oh well, can't wait to drive my Badlands up and down the OBX!
Your thought process has the right logic, but the reality is that Outer Banks is the mall crawler, ala Wrangler Sahara. I hope that helps

Without the tow package you can tow 0 lbs. 3500 lbs is what you have to work with. I hope your track car is light
No dice. The M3 sits at 3,400lbs. Putting it on a diet wouldn’t even help lol

I love the fact that the badlands can run 35's from the factory. It's been asked a few times but I didn't see this exact question. I was also thinking of skipping the sasquatch based on the fact that you get most of that package standard on the badlands.

I like the look of the factory rims but I really don't need mud terrain 35's. I'd prefer something in between. I run Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my rubicon and love them. They are quieter than the old BFGs and look great I think.

So here's my question: does anyone know the width of the factory 17 inch wheels on the Badlands? I wonder because most 35s are 35 x 12.5 I think. And the issue on my rubi was the stock rims wouldn't take a 12.5 inch tire (safely -- I was told) so I was stuck with a 34x11.5.

Hopefully the factory 17s are wide enough to take a 35x12.5. If they are, then I think I'll skip the sasquatch and just put that money towards 35 ridge grapplers or something similar.

Jl rubicons are putting 35 x 12.50s on their stock 7.5 wide wheel with no problems. These Badland wheels are at least that, but I'm willing to bet that they are 8 inch wide.

Says in the specs posted the standard Badlands wheel is 17x8 and the Sasquatch wheel is 17x8.5.

Doesn't the sasquatch package push the wheels further out?

I think I want to order the Badlands with 33s, and then swap for 35s and wheels of my choosing...but I badlands stock suspension the same as what comes if you order one with Sasquatch? Or would I need to also lift it to put on my own 35s on a stock Badlands?
my questions as well.

Thanks guys. Just what I needed. Yeah I see more and more guys running 35s on 7.5 inch rims. I should have done that. But at 8 inches, that will be perfect and alleviates my concern. No Sasquatch for me then. I like the base badlands rims and will just add my own 35s.

Time to study up on colors ...

For sure. No way am I going to get an off-roader with an "I don't want to get dirty" mindset (especially at that price point). Just disappointed in the naming convention. Thanks for the comment.

The only thing I'm curious is how the noise level will be with the rubber floors if they are similar to the carpet. I'd like to have better livability on long trips.

The Jeep’s issue with adding 35’s is gearing. With that size tire 4.70 beats 4.11 any day of the week!

As many here in the BL thread has stated the Badlands comes with pretty much everything the Sasquatch Package offers except:
Wider fenders
35's
17" headlock capable wheels

Here's my question:
Does it even make sense to add Sasquatch Package if I plan on swapping out suspension and wheels?

On the concept preview trucks I saw the cactus grey 4 door sporting some fancy adjustable coilovers. I assume that this was a preview of what the parts catalog might offer. I would like to get something as close to the FOX Live Valves which is offered on the Raptor. Is what is pictured the Ford Performance equivalent of the FOX's?

Several people are asking about whether to go with the Sasquatch package or not.

Besides the 35" tires and the fenders, there is not much reason outside of rear diff gearing.

If you keep the 2.3 + Manual, you are getting 4.7:1 as your final drive ratio.

If you go 2.7 (and automatic), your final drive ratio is 4.46:1. By adding the Sasquatch package, you get the final drive ratio back to where the 7-speed is.

Personally, I'm not going to get the Sasquatch version if I stay with the Badlands - unless something else is later revealed AND the price structure is too cheap not to.

If you are going to replace your tires anyway - the drive ratio is the only thing you will not get.

My choice would be a 2 door, 2.3 Cyber Orange
10sp (maybe!?)
Modular shadow black roof
Lux pack (B&O and 12" for sure)
Keep the vinyl seating (heated)
High clearance Suspension
17" forged bead lockers (hate, HATE any black wheel with machined face!)

I'm gonna guess (Canadian dollars). $1k for tranny, $1000 to switch hardtops, $1800 for Lux, a couple hunddy for the lift, and $500 for the rim swap.

I'm curious what the High package's "sound dampening" feature will be? If it gives you carpet - I'm skipping that.

I drive an F-150 w/ V8 and extended cab. The wind noise if the rubber around the door is off is substantial but when it is seated correctly, it isn't super loud.

I can't hear my phone speaker clearly without it being near my head but I can hear everyone in the cabin well enough.

I'll be curious where the noise level rates, compared to my truck. I guess it will come down to the seems on the roof.

I know my brother's Rubicon leaks water - so the wind sound is likely noticeable. Regardless, I'll take a louder cabin over the smell of wet carpet and fabric seats any day.
