For all of you planning to order the Sasquatch package (which sounds like mostly everyone), just a few things to think about...if you are a serious off-roader, by all means go for it. If you are planning to go off-roading occasionally, mostly just fire trails and stuff I would really consider the standard 33's with KO2's. I have a '74 with 33" Mud Terrain tires (KO2's weren't available when I bought them) and a 2015 Rubicon. The Rubicon came standard with Mud terrains and I swapped them for KO2's. The sound difference is night and day, the KO2's are so much quieter. I know folks who have done a ton of modifications to their Rubicons and the driving experience can really take a dive very quickly. I've done mods to my '74 (2 1/2" suspension lift, 1" body lift etc...) that affect the on-road experience, but I don't care in that truck. Granted the Bronco mods will be from the factory, but 35's are no joke on the road. Just somethiing to think about if you are daily driving.

I agree thats why I talked about it. (Everyone said they wanted a white top thats how you get it this package)

Click on exterior features and look at optional

https://www.ford.com/suvs/bronco/2021/models/bronco-badlands/

The other option I like that no one has said is the Keyless entry pad. I like that option but its on most if not all models.
Question I have if is that will be customizable or not. The only promo video/pic I've seen is the same color (orange roof with orange body), and that looks worse than the black contrast imo.

I'm sure the only color options will be the ones of the color you can get with that package but you should be able to pick for those. I would think

Kinda. I drive a vehicle with no infotainment screen. My wife has one in her Fusion - and I'm sure you can adjust the brightness but in the morning, it gives me a headache when we ride together. Being somewhere between 5-8", I can't imagine looking at a 12" screen.

The "High Package" intrigues me due to the 360 degree camera.

The Lux is pretty much the stereo and I'm boring as hell - I could not care less about having great music. I often drive listening to people talking or silence (well the rumble of my V8, technically).

If the 360 camera doesn't really seem useful, I will likely go with the mid - and there is a chance I go to a Black Diamond and option up from there if it saves me serious money.

But right now, 2-door Badlands is what I have plunked 100 towards.
I am hoping that this 360 view is going to be a gamechanger, especially on the approach. I can't tell you how much I wish I had a front camera on my FX4.

Badlands deposit in as well. Anyone think the Mid, High, Lux packages have too many electronic nannies? I may just opt for the Sasquatch and 2.7 (if the 2.3 is direct injection only).
The squatch should cost less as an upgrade on the badlands, as it only adds a lift and 35s. The rest of the cost will come from the engine and trans upgrade.... I don't want the 35s or the lift so the badlands is almost perfect. Just need the ability to have the V6 paired with the 7speed.

I want to put another wrench in this for fun but something I'm thinking about. Transmission gearing and rear end gearing I'm a race car guy so I use this link to help me with final speed.

The pic will tell you final gear just click on T56 and change the numbers as need and hit calculate. with the 10 speed its .63 final so with 35s and a 4.7 gear say at 77mph I'm 2200 rpms now with 37s that will be 2090 rpms. If you don't get the Sasquatch package you have 4.46 35s would be 2080 rpms and 37s would be 1970 rpms. I like the idea of being under 2000 rpms at cruse.

Just some food for thought The odds are I'll go 4.7 with 37s and be 2090 rpms at 77mph

If you keep the 7 speed the gears are already 4.7 also they will have to lower the price for that package.

You can't have the squatch and the 7 speed is the thing... You can't have a V6 and the 7 speed... I suppose you could pair the automatic with the 2.3L and add the squatch, but that doesn't give me butterflies.

I want 35” ATs....KO2s or Duratracs; I wish they offered 35” ATs as an option over the MTs. So...I wouldn’t mind the 33s stock, but then, is it geared close enough to swap to 35: without regearing, or do I need to order Sasquatch to run 35s well?

A lot of Jeeps are running 35-38” tires on stock 4.10 gears. With less power and 2 fewer gears (The spread is important, which I haven’t really looked into.) I honestly think the 4.46 gears and 35’s will be perfectly comfortable. Especially with the 2.7, but should be fine with the 2.3 as well.

Kind of petty, but has anyone seen the mention of fog lights on a badlands?

Woke up today resigned to the fact the Mansquatch is probably a pipe dream. I hate to say it, but I may go auto.
I would say keep the man...lose the squatch. Sounds like DIYsquatch would be fairly easy!

The preliminary spec sheet shows the BL trim with higher wheel travel than others.
Extra 40mm (1.6") up front and 45mm (1.8") in the rear.

Thanks I looked everywhere for that. I was bummed about the Sasquatch with the manual but now looking at it I think the 33 tires are the best bet for what I want. High speed off-roading on whoops and flexing up berms.
