Barricade HD Adventure rack on soft top?

Has anyone tried this out? It’s the only soft top rack I’ve seen that allows for relatively easy removal of cross bars to open the top on the go.

The one review I’ve come across mentions a lot of wind…

Just bought it this morning. Should be here 1-2 weeks.

I have a 200lb Tepui RTT and an OVS 180 Awning to put on it. Spoke with extreme terrain, they told me max dynamic load was 350lbs (should be good there) but static max was not given. I assume as with the other comparable racks static is near 800lb.

Extreme Terrain would not provide me with the install manual prior my purchase. Does anyone have a pdf of the manual to share??? If not I will be sure to .pdf the hardcopy I receive.

Forgot to mention. The cross bars cannot be relocated. I believe they told me the rear hatch can be opened with the cross bars in place. I guess we will find out soon.

@LanceIto How did the install go? Were you able to do it alone? And does the rear open up after installed.

Easy solo-install but time consuming. Rack is good. Get what you pay for. I am happy with my purchase although I have put a 200lb RTT and 50lb awning on it and I am a bit nervous. I might have been better choosing the Gobi.

There are holes to mount the cross bars in 6 locations and they provide you with 4 cross bars so there is some location variability. I am able to fully open the rear soft top hatch.

Update: This rack has been awesome!!! Plenty strong for my heavy set up.

The 4 crossbars need to be removed to fully retract the top.

How is the wind noise ??

Its there but I cant remember it without the rack. There are no whistles or other weird wind noises. I took off their front fairing and it helped.
