So is it essentially a wrap over the old wheel or did they completely remove and replace the plastic? How does it feel compared to the old wheel, looks thicker (which I personally would enjoy coming from a BMW M steering wheel).
I don’t have it in my hands yet, it shipped today, the photos are from the vendor. I’ll report on material quality and post photos when it’s in. There was an extra charge to thicken the wheel. The tri color stitch was no additional charge. They do a lot of German stuff, check their website. It was a base, uncovered wheel I purchased new. I find the factory wheel covering substandard even in higher trims, I believe I’ve read quips about it in reviews as well.

Anyway, if it was worth the cost is an opinion. I got a base so I would have bandwidth to improve things like this to ‘make it mine’.

I looked at putting on a F150 Raptor wheel on my base and it was a no go. You can get them cheaper then this costs.
My gosh. If I could fit a Raptor steering wheel I would be so happy. But I can see why it wouldnt. work

I got this back from them just now.

Thanks for your inquiry. The cost to recover your 2023 Ford Bronco steering wheel to the factory's specifications with some options available is.
- Wheel $399 (solid black leather) or $449 (two-tone, including combined perforated and solid black leather). Add an extra $30 if done with Alcantara following the two options above. Alcantara colors are available in black #9040 and charcoal #9002.
- Adding thumb rests $150 (bumps at 10 and 2 o'clock for a sporty look).
- Adding extra padding $85 (required for Alcantara wrap to avoid wrinkles. You also can choose either the 1/16" or 1/8" padding for the desired thickness).
- Adding a stripe $60 (any colored band at 12 o'clock).
- Colored/Style stitching (no extra charge).
- Shipping $35 (CONUS) or $85 (International).
Turn around time is about 7-8 days.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.

Don't laugh, but I like the Base steering wheel -- a lot. I guess when you've got calluses from 35+ years of hard work, you don't need a cushy leather steering wheel. 😉

@Climber Is yours the 1/8" or 1/16" padding? You didn't add additional "thumb bumps" - that's just wrapping the OEM shape? Thanks!

Check out my new steering wheel. The work speaks for itself. I will touch this every time I drive, and it’s a huge improvement over the base uncovered wheel. Looking forward to getting it installed, will post when I do.

Nice job! I like the beefier wheel look.
