Topless vehicles with the aerodynamics of a brick tend to have interior tornadoes pop up from time to time I've found.
I recently built my own custom "hat holder" mod on my Bronco.
I 3D printed a hook that attaches onto the passenger side of the vehicle. When I press a button the hook extends to the driver side, reaches up, and takes my hat off my head. It then retracts and holds the hat until I need it again.
Actually, I just toss my hat on the passenger seat. Don't overthink it, man.

I keep an "emergency cap" in the rear storage pocket where the sub would be on the B&O system. That way I always have one if I choose to drop the top spontaneously.

The whole point of a cap is being able to wear it inside the Brinco. The true struggle is wearing an actual brimmed hat in a modern vehicle. Pickups lend themselves to the wire pull down rack, but I see no option for a hat rack in a Bronco.

Yep, I do the same. No issues yet as I put it with the bill of the hat sitting between the seat and center console...ie think of the grab handle wearing it backwards.
Does that mess with your instrument cluster and screen? Whenever I shove my hat up there, the whole thing goes into night mode because that sensor up front thinks it's dark out.Had posted this in the best mods thread. Patent pending.

Like others, I just find a place to shove the hat, but mostly wear it with the top down due to being folicly challenged up top!
I use my knee usually, but also have these hooks from Amazon in all of our vehicles. I love them, although it may not be what you’re after, they clip onto the headrest post and you can easily flip them which ever way you want.
