I daily mine, 30k miles in 10 months 2-6 start/stops a day and got green rating at my dealer check last week. I think long time sitting and cold weather ruin batteries more then using it like intended.

Maybe.

I drive about like you do - 30k+ miles/year. My battery still didn't quite make it 2 years, although I was well past the 36k warranty on it.

My battery was replaced under warranty. ASS not working was the red flag. Thanks all, this saved me a few bucks because I have 35k on the clock.
FYI, hand held battery check tool passed my battery. The larger tool, which takes approximately 3 hrs to diagnose, failed my battery. Evidently this is the tool Ford requires for warranty battery check replacement.

Well this year my bronco will have it's 4th Birthday in June. However I don't think my OEM battery will be inside it for the celebration day as I am getting the "Remote features disabled to preserve battery message".

I was hoping to get 5 birthdays with the original battery but it is what it is.

Heads up to those who haven't looked yet but as I shop around online the 94R AGM batteries are a bit of a sticker shock and $$$.

The AutoZone Duralast Elite AGM says it has a 5 year free replacement so I may go with that one. IF Odyssey made an extreme 94R I would go that route as I have used them in the past with great results however as of this post they do not.

Cheers and Happy New Year to all!

So ASS not working properly is an indication of a battery on its last leg? I’ve noticed lately A.S.S. is not as dependably annoying - when I forget to hit the button. Can an auto parts store or dealer verify my battery is at end of life?
That's the greatest benefit of ASS -- a warning your battery is low or dying, hah. I'd prefer just a message from the BMS (after all, the whole point of the BMS is to monitor the health of the battery) but I guess that would cost $0.05/unit so it can't be done.

Coming up on 4 years in March. Battery seems to be doing fine. It is a 75% daily driver and only 37K miles on the odometer. I drive both long and short distances for around 10K miles a year.

I'm still on my original 2021 OEM battery ... and i'm in Phoenix and offroad in very hot conditions too. I'm going to swap it out before the death summer comes this year tho... looking for upgrade options.
