So: like a dumb ass I have been watching Everglades videos and I really (really) like the squared off wheel wells and flares. The wheels are absolutely fantastic. a 12" screen with the mid package: hell yah! Did I mention that I really like the wheel wells/flares? Besides the sand (DAK) color looks good; hopefully it will be exclusive to the Everglades model.

I am torn: I have been a die hard A51 2 door fan since day one but I am seriously considering the Everglades. From what I can tell it is basically a 4 door BD with upgrades. I'd have to drop the 2.7 but honestly I don't think I need it: I wanted it but really didn't need it. I drove a 4 door with the 2.3 and it did not seem to be wanting for power.

I know; living in Central Pennsylvania I am not likely to ever need the snorkel (it could help with snow/road salt) nor will I need to ford any 36" deep water ways. The winch isn't something that I need but eventually I will use it (it's 100 feet less to drag a deer).

I am looking about $4k increase over my current 2 door order but I think I can justify that with the change to a 4 door and the addition of the winch/bumper and bull bar? Is there anything that I am missing?

Is anyone else considering this edition?

Are there any major pro's or con's that I am missing between the two?

See ya,

@Skip2a I have a 2-door on order. If I could afford the Everglades I would change. It looks really cool.

Not much help, but 🤷🏼‍♂️

With the Everglades you can also get the new tan color! If I didn't already have my CG Badlands I think i'd pull the trigger.

I'd totally get the Everglades over the BD if it makes financial sense for you

Are the Everglade fenders actually different or is it just the flares? If just the latter keep the BD and buy a set of Everglade flares later.

I like it but then I saw that the 2.7 isn't available:

Also I like having the cameras

Well, false alarm.

Even though I really liked several features of the Everglades (rims and sand color) there were some that I would never use (snorkel, winch) or that didn’t want (4 cyl). It just wasn’t worth giving up the 2 door or paying the additional $5k.

I’m back to my original order with a few tweaks (dropped tow and the roof rack). With any luck I might get to actually drive my 2 door, BD, 2.7, SaS, mid, A51 Bronco sometime this year.

I guess time will tell.

Thank you all for your comments!
