Does anyone have any experience with the non-OEM rings sold on EBay, etc? They look identical to the OEM rings on the Ford Performance site for half the cost. The cost to powder coat is actually more than new ones on Ebay and the sellers look legit.

I'd probably buy them from somewhere that has free returns just to be safe. I'd also look around a little more to find a place that'll powdercoat them for less. Look for smaller shops if you can.

Might want to see if the cheap aftermarket ones are cast instead of forged. Cast won’t bend they’ll crack under heavy impact.

I presume you mean the beauty rings not beadlock rings? If so, it's not a critical part and going cheap is unlikely to have drawbacks.

They are the exact same as stock. No difference in quality. Just torque them to proper spec.

Thanks - the websites and eBay stores all seem to be linked using different company names. The ads and pictures are all the same on each site and go from $399 - 499 depending on the site.

YMMV but if I use my vehicle on-road also then one of the last parts I’m gonna want to try and save a buck on and buy from (fill-in-the-blank cheap online retailer) is the only thing holding my tire on the wheel at speed

EDIT: it appears as though maybe you’re just talking about the trim/beauty rings? If so, carry on.. go with the lowest bidder. The amazon link the person posted above isn’t to a set of actual beadlock rings.. those are just $500 ornamental trim rings Identical to the ones that come on the wheels stock from Ford
