Anyone try the :
Belltech Lifting Struts & Stock Springs
Part #: 152601TP

They say they send Spring Perches with it, to use your factory springs.
I personally thought a lift is supposed to happen with the spring, and the struts provide damping.
But this approach provides lift with the strut. To me its counter-intuitive.
That said, I do trust Belltech ...

Any opinions on this approach or experience with this product?

No difference than the other shocks that have multiple spring perches. I’d be more concerned with calling them struts.

Do you have any examples of the other shocks that have multiple spring perches?
Sry I guess I dont know the difference between shocks and struts - technically speaking.

Belltech on their site, calls them: 0-4" Lift Kit Inc. Front and Rear Trail Performance Struts

The Bilstein 5100s are the classic example, but almost every shock maker has one or two with multiple spring perch rings.

Struts are a structural part of the suspension and take the place of UCAs when on the front. The Bronco uses shocks. Semantics for sure, but a manufacturer should use the correct terminology.

MORE INFOS

These include spring perches for stock springs.

This video shows the ability to use just the : "Lower Perch Lift Collars, pre load collars, spring pre load spacers."

Q: Does the new strut, mitigate some of the issues associated with this sort of lift - as described in the video?

ISSUES: * Likelyhood of coil bind, bump steer, harsher ride

good clairification thanks
I read on here the Belltech is "not known for off road product" - I get that and also feel that they make quality product...
Do you know any Shock / Strut company "Known for off road product" making a :
Shock/strut lift kit, with spring perches - product? Like Belltech has?

Seems pretty compelling especially if introducing a new shock/strut can mitigate some of the issues associated with a spring perch lift.
