Howdy. How do you like the 6112s on trail? Seriously considering buying these this summer!

I've been loving them. They ride slightly softer than the standard sasquatch shocks, but handle big hits and fast stuff much better and smoother. Basically softer but with more controlled damping. They are also very stable in the rocks and flex well. I think the best thing I can say about them is that I really don't think about them when wheeling. They just do what they should.

That’s good to hear. I thought the stock Sasquatch shocks were very soft and would blow through the travel very quickly on ledges and rock gardens going slow. If the new shocks are more controlled at slower speeds that is a win for me!

Yes, the valving is much better. I don't think I ever felt them bottom out during UBB going fast or slow.

The way the lower front studs were hanging in the control arm I see why some guys just cut them off. I might do this since I'm removing the base struts an the have no value to reuse except for the top plates for Bilsteins.

Question, did you have much troubles getting the alignment done after lifting your Bronco with the 6112? Not sure if I would need new UCAs like an Icon or notice much difference in articulation if I am only doing Circlip 4 in the front and 2 in the back that doesn’t lift the bronco up much. Installing the Zone off-road cam lock bolts probably be a good idea during alignment.

OEM UCA works fine for alignment on the bilstein 6112s. Good articulation since springs are not to stiff and dampers are tuned reasonably well.

Well I bit the bullet and ordered some 6112s for my Badlands 2 door Sasquatch. Will post back my results in May. My vehicle configuration is Rock Hard 4x4 Steel Belly Pan skids, Rock Hard 4x4 sliders, and stock bumpers. I did a rear seat delete, everything else is stock for people comparing weight to circlip settings. Id imagine the skids are around 200lbs, Sliders probably 50lbs or more.

Plan on doing circlip 4 in the front and 2 in the back. Hopefully that works out! If anyone disagrees with the circlip settings let me know!

A question for you, re. your beadlock rings, did you paint those yourself, or are they purchased?

Hey one last question. @StinkBug Have you noticed your bronco lose a little bit of lift since the install or still pretty level still?

It hasn't been that long yet, but it's still the same height. If it settles more I can always move the clips up, but I doubt that'll be necessary.

Hey @StinkBug I hate to be a pest. But I get my shocks installed on Friday. Can you do me a favor and measure from the center of the hub to the fender front and rear. Then also measure from the ground to the fender and post the measurements.

It would be greatly appreciated. Just seeing how much lift I will get and compare it to other posts that used different circlip settings.
