Looks great, would love to see more pictures of it in the sun. I'm curious how all of the paint will hold up especially on the flexible parts like the hood cowl

How did you black out the tail lights, and side lights on the front?
Great question, they just painted it black and finished it with a clear coat. Not sure exactly what type of paint they used though. They provided a sample and showed me other vehicles they've finished. Super happy with the way they came out.

Originally I was wanting to have them wrapped, but it turned out the tail lights were a pain and looked like ****. I also tried the GTS styling cover's for the the front and rear, but I thought they looked like **** too.

I hoping the cowl holds up long term. I had it wrapped in PPF hoping it would do just that. I'm getting a 2nd set of wheels next week or the week after. Just depends on when I have I time to have them installed, but I'll provide some updated pics with it cleaned.

I won't deny it does look great, but is that tint and covering/dimming the side marker signal lights street legal in your neck of the woods?

Those trail sight deletes look great painted. @50 Deep I’ll still buy a set of you have any old stock laying around. I know you were looking for a way to continue producing them with a lower price point.

All these guys worried about you keeping it clean and avoiding swirls obviously don’t know how ppf & ceramic work, good call on those.
Great build, looks awesome!!

Looks awesome and agree PPF and ceramic should help keeping it clean and swirl free.

Looks great and stoked that you're happy with the results. For me - after living three times in Texas - I wouldn't do black unless I planned to slow cook brisket inside my cargo bed while the truck was parked outside. 🥵

Nice job. Were there any issues in wrapping the top? I'm going to have mine wrapped as well and a number of guys have said they can't wrap it because of the texture? So I was just wondering how you got around that. Thanks

Every place I spoke with told me the same thing, so I decided to paint everything. Prior to it being painted it was sanded and prepped making it a smooth surface, so there would be no issues with the wrap adhering.

I saw this guy here on youtube actually wrapped his top with no prep. I'd shoot him a note to ask how it's holding up.

Makes sense about painting it first. Thanks for the reply

Flush taillights would be a nice addition to your build!
