Blind Spot Monitoring on Base Bronco 2023

I have a base 2023 Ford Bronco. Ford states that all of their new vehicles Have Ford CoPilot 360. Included in Ford Co Pilot 360 it has Blind Spot Monitoring. Why does my 2023 Bronco Base not have Blind Spot Monitoring?

My base does not have it either. In fact my base doesn't have "sport goat mode" and I can't add it vis Forscan for some reason. Added "mud/rut" but no sport IDK. I prefer properly adjusted mirrors over BSM any day.

I believe the basic CoPilot 360 is the Pre Collision braking. There are different levels of CoPilot 360 based on trim level and options.

The same reason every Bronco doesn’t have adaptive cruise control.
CoPilot 360 features aren’t the same for every vehicle/model/package.

But what's weird is I used to have a 2021 bronco sport big bend and It have blind spot monitoring


On Fords Website it CLEARLY states that 2023 bronco base have Co Pilot 360 which INCLUDES blind spot monitoring

On the Base build and price tool, there is nothing indicating BLIS is available on this trim level. It does say Ford CoPilot 360 Technology, but nothing specific to BLIS. BLIS is part of the Mid package, which is not available on the Base trim.

I believe you need the Mid package for BLIS. Base does not come with Mid package unfortunately.

Co-Pilot 360 refers to an entire suite of driver-assist controls.

The most basic form of Co-Pilot 360—which I believe is now standard on the vast majority of Ford vehicles at this point, is Pre-Collision Assist with Emergency Braking.

But Co-Pilot 360 it also includes features like Adaptive Cruise Control, BlueCruise (the hands-free feature), Active Park Assist (the auto-parallel park feature), Pro Trailer Backup Assist, Lane-Keeping, etc. etc.

Blind spot monitoring on a base are those small mirrors on the side mirrors. Blind spot mirrors. They work great. The fuses never burn out.

I think it is ridiculous it doesn’t come with th5 blind spot monitoring system standard.

i have a black diamond model and i notice if i speed up and the car in front of me is not moving as fast a alert will pop up advising collision warning

Lane centering just use a different type of IPMA I believe.
