Boring paint options?

Yes and no. In a way yes it means more sold with bland colors...but that isn't why the dealers order the bland colors. The reason is that people tend to have strong color preferences when it comes to bright colors so the dealers prefer more neutral colors when it comes to stock vehicles as they find people can be sold a neutral color that is available than go totally against their color preference for say red to get them to take the blue one they have.

For those wanting to be more flashy I agree. But those more boring colors don’t show scratches and scuffs like the more high gloss and deep color paints. I almost went with the AMB on my 21, but knew it would show those trail pen stripes very easy. A51 hides them well. Just my opinion and why I went the direction i did.

My guess is it’s half demand and half a sales tactic. For example, Cyber orange was a fun color — the launch color no less — but nobody ordered it so it got dropped.

My guess is, they will introduce more interesting colors in future years to stir up sales once the backlog is finished.

At least the good thing with all the grays is that the fun colors stick out. Just think of what if all the cars were yellow then silver might be "fun" kinda like seeing a non red Ferrari or Corvette.

Same. I’ve had my race red 2 door on order since way back when most people hadn’t seen a B6G in person but now race red is the majority of what I see on the roads in my area.

So much 4 door hate. I just want to bring shit with me on my adventures and not have to gas up every hour with a tiny fuel tank coupes are for sports cars. A coupe SUV to me is like what’s the point you bought an SUV but can’t do SUV things lol. An exclusive rock crawler I get. But let’s face it none of you are doing serious rock crawling lol. I’ve seen so many “workaround” posts for 2 doors.

Was browsing my local Ford dealers websites and noticed some good news, but also some bad news. The good news is the Broncos are finally coming! The bad news is.... it's an unrelenting sea of ocean blues and cloudy grays. While I love Area 51 and the new Azure color is nice too, I just think A51 is kind of played out. Of 24 in-transit Broncos within a 100-mile range of me, there' s only 1 race red and 2 shadow blacks. And if that wasn't bad enough, there isn't a SINGLE real 2-door Bronco.

I know Ford will have zero problems selling each and every one of these, but for such a cool vehicle it just seems like such a shame that there isn't a more robust and exciting range of colors to choose from. I can't help but be a little jealous of all the fun colors that Dodges offers for their Jeeps and Challengers.

Does anyone else feel the way I do? Or are you happy with the current paint options?

2dorks have for some reason gone out of their way to convince themselves that everyone covets a Bronco II because they did. Nobody does.

You’ll notice this isn’t even a 2D thread but yet again they’ve made it one.

Just laugh at the oddballs and move on.

Or remind them they bought a Bronco II and there’s nothing “OG” about it.
