So here’s my update. They required me to disassembly the one flap I had installed so I could show them all the hardware and what’s missing.

Now it’s being packed up and overnighted to me. I’m thinking probably Monday is when it arrive. They couldn’t just ship a full set of replaced hardware. They might loose 3 buck worth of profit.

I’m hoping the idiot that’s going to count what needs to be shipped to has a full set of fingers and toes. That way he MIGHT be able to get the correct amount in the bag. But if it’s the same momo that counted the hardware the first time, I don’t have much hope.

I went to 5 local hardware yesterday in an attempt to find washers. No luck. So today I’m going to hit a Home Depot to find them. I’m 200 miles from home for an appt.

I’ll get the washers and install the flaps tomorrow. I don’t care if the washer are black. I know I can get stainless ones.

Anyone reading this, do yourself a favor and don’t buy from Broaddict. If you have a problem with your order expect delays and having to jump thru a bunch of hoops to get the parts you need. And do it all via email they no CS phone number.

Never again.

Oh, man! I'm sorry to read all this. Now I'm wondering if I was just lucky or what

I think you were lucky. If they managed to ship the correct hardware the first time my opinion would be different.

But still, the rears have instructions that are shit.

I watched the videos for installation. 2 of them are Chinese guys fumbling around trying to install them. The other actually goes thru the process completely. And he speaks English!

The fronts came with a parts list. The rears didn’t.

I have painted the lower part gloss black to match my wheels. I’ll post up a picture once I get everything installed. And to be honest, I really don’t care how they look. I would have returned them, but I can’t imagine how much of a hassle that would be.

I’m considering these a throw away. I won’t go back to them for warranty if there is an issue. I’m considering this a learning lesson.

I wanted flaps first before I purchased a JSC catch can. Which I have had on all my EcoBoost motors.

That should have been were I spent my money. Not with this middle man company with Chinese products and no QA.

Man! Yeah, I like your attitude. And sharing this on this thread hurts them way more than my original post was supposed to help them. I am sure that will be something they notice. Or I hope so. I actually asked where they'd like me to brag about their products as I was so impressed with what they did. Instead, with all you've said, this is turning into an advertisement to run from them. Way it goes, I guess. Let me see your sled though. Like all you've described.

I have posted to their original thread about how to install the Chinese made flaps.

Read it and see how my over night shipping is going. Shipped 8/13 due to arrive 8/21. Now that’s overnight! They are not to be trusted.

I also posted a review on their website.

UPDATE: They pulled the 1 star review I left on their website. This is just another indication that they are not concerned with the customer and don’t want any negative reviews.

UPDATE 2: got my replacement hardware. Their overnight shipping took only 5 days. They shorted my hardware again! So now I’m waiting for the credit I asked for because of the time and money I spend getting the parts needed to install the fronts.

if I don’t get it, I’ll let my credit card company deal with them.

they made it right by refunding sine of the purchase price and comp’ing one of their bag systems.

To be fair while they did all this, I don’t think I would purchase from them again. Just too many problems.
