Actually, upon further reflection, I was probably in Normal mode. Not enough rebound damping. Come of Fox, update your shock software.
Definitely nice air!
Baja mode, maybe not. Definitely something I’ll be investigating further.Very impressive, but as was pointed out, that is a heck of a lot of rebound. I don't believe putting it in Baja mode would create enough dampening. I would hope that the Fox system allows you to manually adjust the rebound.
It was indeed a big drop, and your Raptor handled it well. Hopefully, some adjustments to your fox suspension will correct the damping.Baja mode, maybe not. Definitely something I’ll be investigating further.
One consideration is that was a pretty dang big drop. While the wheels were only a foot or so off the ground I probably dropped down 12+ feet from wheel separation to landing. It’s a lot taller than it looks on camera.
Somewhere around 50, I think! That looked fun. How fast were you going on the jump?
Fly!Yep, I got off the gas at/near departure.
FYI - Baja Mode would have helped significantly as it provides more compression and more rebound damping and is specifically for fast and tough terrain. You can "manually" adjust the Raptor suspension but only in that you can choose a GOAT mode or choose a suspension mode manually (the former just does the latter). The manual suspension options are Normal, Sport, Off-road and Baja. Individual compression or rebound adjustments would be well beyond 99% of owners......
