Did anyone actually put a BRaptor hood in their Bronco yet? Reading thru the thread, I am not sure if anyone tried or if it was just talked about as a possibility and then went onto other parts.

@flip
I have not heard of anyone doing it yet. Might need the raptor specific hinges and hood struts but more concerned about fit due to the fenders being different. We know the raptor grille fits on non-raptor and the cowl part numbers are the same on all broncos so the variable, if any, would be the fenders.

Hopefully someone takes the plunge so that we know for sure.....You know for science 😂

@flip How much would a Raptor hood cost, before taxes and shipping and what parts do you think we would need?

Best I can come up with, prices are at list. You will still need to paint and the hood latch may or may not be an issue.

Hood N2DZ-16612-A $1,291.60 (Do not know if comes with "scoop" N2DZ-16C630-AA $850.78 or attaching scoop hardware)
R Hinge N2DZ-16796-A $111.44
L Hinge N2DZ-16797-A $111.02
R Strut N2DZ-16C826-A $56.51
L Strut N2DZ-16C826-B $56.56
Hinge to hood nut (4) W709923-S437 $11.00
Hinge to body bolt (2) W503273-S450B $5.50
Hinge to body bolt (4) W717793-S439 $11.00

@flip you are awesome. Thank you. Hopefully someone sees this and decides to take the plunge. If they are successful and everything lined up, then this is the path I want to go down. But it will take me a lot of saving 🤣

So ordering these parts in the shown quantities gets me all I need for adding the BRaptor tailgate reinforcement to my Badlands?

Does anything need to be modified?

Tailgate Hinges / Reinforcement

  • N2DZ1A430B - Spare Wheel Retaining Reinforcement (Raptor Series)
  • N2DZ7826800A - Tailgate Hinge. Door Hinge - Upper (Raptor Series)
  • N2DZ7842900A - Tailgate Hinge. Door Hinge - Lower (Raptor Series)
  • W721746S450B - Bolt (x4)
  • W718426S450 - Bolt (x4)
  • W721479-S300 - Bumper (x2)
Are these parts needed?
  • Upper Reinforced
    (M2DZ-7842942-A)
  • Lower Reinforced
    (M2DZ-7842942-B)

Is this the flat steel plate like the aftermarket ones
N2DZ1A430B - Spare Wheel Retaining Reinforcement (Raptor Series)

This makes it the full Raptor equivalent- not adding an aftermarket tailgate reinforcement?

I'm willing to take the plunge on the hood and see if it lines up with bronco fenders. If the grill fits non- raptor, the cowl is the same and I assume the trail sights are the same as well, I'm leaning towards it lining up.

What would shipping be on a raptor hood?

Enough to make it not feasible to ship. Would be cheaper to obtain locally.

Hi All,

I got some trail damage to my rear bumper and fender. Can I please get some help finding the bumper cover part numbers? looks like the top and side cover are plastic and can be removed and replaced.

I'm reaching out to a couple of Ford dealerships close to me to see who's got the best price on the hood alone.

The top pad is M2DZ-17B807-AA

The other small side piece you have circled isn’t for a Bronco Raptor. That parts picture is for a regular Bronco steel rear bumper. If you remove that piece, there should be an engineering number on it that I may be able to cross reference though.
