Looks great. I have the same 6 LP4 on the bumper but did a custom wiring harness to wire it differently than you did. Question I have, why did you choose to not go with the LP4 for the ditch lights? They have covers to block the side emitted light.

Im of the school of I'd rather go overkill then underkill, thus I have dual 10 gauge wires feeding 3 LP4’s each parallel to each other, all going to relays and then directly to the battery. I use the Aux switch as a trigger switch to turn the lights on, and the backlights are connected to the parking lights through a marker adapter, so whenever the marker lights are on , so is the backlighting. No extra switch necessary. Also, everything is plug and play, no cutting or tapping of wires.

Gotcha. Our system was designed so that it all daisy chains together.

The harness provided will handle safely up to 45amps and the lights put out 40 amps. The relay is rated for 80a and the fuse is rated for 60amps. The harness uses 10 gauge wires.

I mean what you did isn't bad, just not necessary :)

If you don't want the daisy chain harnesses we sent, can I have them back. They cost quite a bit of $$ (that's $140 worth of wiring harnesses we sent over)

Do you think this kit will work on the capable bumber if i just drill the holes in the top of the bumper?

Anything is possible if you make some holes, but this is designed as a bolt-on kit for the HD Modular.

yeah i just went out and looked. the capible bumper sits closer to the grill and this would need cutom brackets. But its got me thinking.

The XL80s throw more light and was concerned about the side light. I didn't want to have to use the covers. I went back and forth on this decision and finally landed on doing the XL80s, but now you have me wondering if I should have done the LP4s....

You cant go wrong with either, and ive been back and forth on this as well. I wish baja would extend the backlighting to other lines, which is why im leaning toward the lp4 on the pillar so that all my lights have backlighting. The lights still look good even with the covers installed:
