And that's the key. For $8, if there's a slight chance it works and might prevent me from hitting a deer (which I never have in 34 years of driving)... and if it's not a hideous addition to my vehicle, I just might do it.

I don't know very many deer(s?), but that looks like a very uncomfortable way to sleep, you know with it's head facing its butt and all.
WOW!!! Hope youāre okay. Bronco doesnāt look too good either. Hopefully the deer is just sleeping and wakes up.

I am very sorry for your loss and am happy that you are safe and sound. Its not everyday that you hear of a deer getting run over by a horse.

It seems to be happening a lot that front airbags are not going off. If they didn't go off for your front end collision, I don't know what it would take. But, I am NOT a engineer hired to design airbags either.

Rangeley Maine: as we were leaving my wifeās college roommateās wedding reception we came upon a jogger. āWho would be running on a dirt road in the middle of the woods at 11pm?ā When we got closer we could make out an impressive set of moose balls swaying to and fro approx 5ft off the ground. Thankfully he was running away from us (hence our view of his package) and veered off the road into the forest. We were driving a 1990 Honda Civic coupe at the time.

Insurance companies will use your wording against you. "I hit a deer" means you're at fault. "A deer jumped out in front of me" implies there was nothing you could do and it is covered.
