Wtf? Why only 1 second lol? Cut off while still driving away?

its in the description, it was a live photo, so he took a live picture which is about 1-2 seconds and converted it into a video.

It's a v6. Probably the 3.5 since it's been around for awhile now. I'd definitely prefer the v8 over the v6 even if performance was the same. Generally less stress on the engine due to lower hp/liter. I remember seeing a video awhile back saying Toyotas are so reliable because they keep their engines dialed back below 100hp/liter. I'm not sure how much truth there is to that, but less stress should mean greater reliability.

My money is still on the 3.0L. Same basic block design as the 2.7L just an increased bore and stroke. Save a lot in development costs going that route over trying to fit the 3.5L. They could really turn it up with the mild hybrid version at 494 hp and 630 ft/lb of torque if they wanted to.

Who buys a factory hot rod for reliability? Buy them to go fast and jump stuff.

The 5.0l is too big, that's why ford has no plans to put it into a Bronco. It's wide, long, and heavy.

Now, if you divide 2.7 into six, you get .45. Now times .45 by eight. You would end up with a 3.6L twin-turbo V8 based on the 2.7L? Anyone? Is this thing on? I imagine that a 3.6L Ecoboost V8 would beat the 5.0L Coyote on HP and gas mileage... and fit into everything from a Edge to the Navigator. Just saying.

It's a shame it takes 3+ years to develop a motor.

I spotted a Warthog prototype turning onto Rotunda Dr. near the product development plant today. Before anyone comments on this post saying how bad the video is...I know, I had a split second to get out my phone and take a picture, I literally had to convert a “Live Photo” to video.

This video doesn’t give much besides some intel regarding what the engine may or may not sound like. Not sure if we’re getting a V-8 or a Raptor-esque HO Ecoboost, you tell me.

.
Definitely not a Coyote. Probably a 3.5 Eco-Boost?
