Looks like the Forestdale Divide trail in Alpine County. I was up there on Sunday this past weekend. Great drive with some decently rocky sections and great views.

Eyyy you guessed it! We brought the Bronco group through last year and I had to come back to see how the winter had effected it. We managed a Bronco sport through last time which was cool. Have you tried Deer Valley at the end by Blue Lakes? It’s a great trail, stunning as well but way harder. Recommend a buddy system on it.

Yeah Deer Valley is great too. Much harder but worth it. Blue Lakes is my favorite place in all of the sierras. So glad I live so close go up there all the time.

Awesome, we seem to be semi neighbors. We should go wheeling sometimes. I run Gold Country Broncos and we put on a ton of wheeling events. But I’m also down for the small scale adventures too. Looking for Rubicon buddies, Slick Rock buddies, and just general adventures.

I have a German shepherd that listens to almost everything I tell him. Not because a trained him well it’s just what he does. I am starting to think he is a lot smarter than me. I also have an Anatolian shepherd that pretty much tells me to f-off when I tell her to do something. 🤷‍♂️

We have a 1 year old Lab who is fairly obedient, but way too hyper! If I could excerecise him like the dog in the video, it would sure take some of the piss and vinegar out of him!

just did the alpine loop. Never been up there. Non-SAS OBX sitting on bilstein 6100s at about SAS ride height with massive 33s (stock badlands takeoffs). No skids, no problem. Bottom half was done in 2h and top half in mostly 4h. Used 4l for a handful of spots but not really necessary. Never needed rear locker. Beautiful scenery, perfect weather, and the dog loved it. Bonus, even some light snow at the top.
