What size are the tires on the trailer, and I assume you’re running a Sasquatch package on the truck?
Sorry was traveling and just now got back online. Pretty sure the trailer tires are 235/85-R16. They are on stock rims from the M416...originally tube tires but these are tubeless. Yes that is a Squatched OBX.

Let me just say I am so grateful for this community. Never would've thought RV/Trailer shopping would be so damn complicated with a tow rating of 3500lbs but alas, here we are.

Stoked to stay I'm grabbing this bad boy over the weekend. 2700ish dry weight, 3500 gvwr. Used the ford points and installed the brake controller last night (not difficult just annoying).

Give us some feedback on that trailer. I like it.

I haven't read through all the additional pages to see if someone else asked. What Weight distribution hitch is that? I have an extension but don't want to use it on a six hour trip we have coming up. Want something like yours that is long enough to clear the back tire and camera.

Also, did you install a brake controller for your Forest River. I have a similar one and was told that I didn't need a brake controller.

Tow off road quite a bit.

Nice set up, how many miles you got towing? What is your mpg like towing and not towing? Thanks m
I've got pretty much the same setup. I have a Geo Pro 19BH. Last year I did roughly 5500 miles towing it with my SaSBadlands 4 Door. My mpg was around 10 miles. I have the 2.7 in my Bronco.

I’ve only towed it around the block to see how it goes. Seems fine. I intend to add a removable tongue to the front of the trailer for a little more tongue length and a little less weight on the hitch. If I can get the Anderson chain w/d bracket installed under the batteries, I’ll do that. I also intend an inertia brake controller and shocks for the trailer as well.

How has this been towing? How many miles you put on it, etc?

Updated with pics now that I have my Bronco. First big trip this past week towing this unit through the Smoky Mountains. The Bronco kicked ass! No issues towing at all. Sweet spot was 71 mph on the interstate. 2,100 rpms and averaged 14.5 mpg for the entire trip. 4.27 gears. Tongue weight was 420 lbs. fully loaded. Includes the WD hitch and a full propane tank up front.

How has this been? The tongue weight is supposed to be 350LBS max so this is really pushing it. Have you traveled cross country/up mountain passes with it, etc? How does it feel safety wise, etc?
