There were 11 orders and 7 allocations, if I remember correctly. I’m first on that list.

FWIW, I would not email any customers about a Tuesday preview. The Thursday preview is the one that really matters. I've already stated multiple times that it's not uncommon for one to preview on Tuesday, and be completely gone by Thursday, replaced with something else by the time the computer is doing it's final calculations. But I guess some dealers may not care if their customers preview gets yanked. I would be upset if that happened to me. I'm not notifying any of our customers, as Ford will do that the day of the final preview. That's the email I'd rely on.

Granger makes it clear that it's not a guarantee and that it might not be scheduled on Thursday. Last month, I had my preview change between Tuesday and Thursday. It sucked but I'm a grown up, I can take it. I prefer more information to less even if that means a little more disappointment.

Imagine having a dealer who is excited about the product they are selling and enjoys sharing updates with customers. I dream about it at night.

I am still trying to process the fact that I was actually able to get them to change my order two weeks ago, though technically I have no proof they did it or did it correctly.

Tamper your expectations Preview people. Don't get excited until you get a VIN.

I can tell you firsthand that it is pretty disappointing to go from Preview to not being scheduled. Also, if you go into Preview and not get scheduled, it does not necessarily put you into the front of line for the next Preview. I know this firsthand too, lol.
