I would say it's a work in progress. My BB build just went up $1595. They include the auto with the Mid Package. So if you want a Mid you can't get a stick. The multiple tops option was there and now gone etc. I gotta figure they are tinkering live.

So now an Outer Banks is only $1K more than the Big Bend model.

If this is correct...I am priced out.
Yep.

I was already pushing it with my BB build - Now with the price change, I'm going to be pushing even further...

Then I noticed the 1k difference between BB and OB .. FML

I think that was their plan all along..

@PSUTE I think the code incorrectly charges the $1595 for the auto twice. This leaves another $795 unexplained.
$795 is the cost of the A4x4.

That was a previously hidden cost add-on for Base and BB when selecting Sasquatch.
While the SQ option also added the Auto trans for free.

ETA: just ran the numbers.

The $1595, is indeed just the 10A being added twice.

Wow. Holy Crap! I double checked that sandstone interior had heated seats on BB before I posted. Now I don’t see it. That was fast!!!
Yep, I checked twice today. First time heated, second not.?

I'm not mad. It makes decisions easier as I absolutely HATE the modern grill on the BB and would only consider it for the heated seats and stand-alone rear locker (which, who knows, could also be a mistake).

Looks like you have never written a check before.
I write it all on one line. My statement was supposed to illustrate Ford's changing prices, using your post as an illustrative example. It was really very funny; although not on its face. It was a deeper, more thoughtful expression of humor.

Undecided
Just the idea that Ford would do this now feels like Im going to look at other brands. Most of us lost everything in the lockdown and now they are skinning sheep.
Agreed. While I never thought the AT would be free with a mid package, I did think the AT would be standard on the base at the $33,200 base price. There is no justification for the increase whatsoever if it holds. There was never a transmission option on the 4dr base. And now they want $40K for a base 4dr? No thanks.

I mean I wanted the OB...but it was too expensive.

The Bronco Sport may be the one I get. But I am not going to order one. I will wait until they are on market for a year and get one at a better price.

Too bad. I waited 3 years for that Bronco to come out. The initial pricing gave me hope I could afford one. It was close...but now it is getting into 40K range. And I just dont want that big of a payment.

What a mess. Kicks up more questions... Are the mod tops now in play? Do I now need to rebuild bb and BL along with my BD to compare? And will it change again?
And on the PC's Chrome, price increase is still there, but roof options are gone. Most web folks work on changes OFF LINE! and then upload it. Duh. Where did these guys learn their stuff?

If Toyota reads the room they would be really smart to release some teasers of the next gen 4runner in the next month or so...
Or an FJ with removable doors and top.
