I ordered my Base Bronco in 21 with, Sas, modular bumper, Aux switches, roof rack, 2.7 and hard top and paid $47805.
I had to go up to a Black Diamond to get the 2.7, after building it up to compare to my original build the price now is
$59,000! It came with a 12" screen, vinyl seats which we didn't want and factory skid plates.
I think Ford is making a big mistake pricing the Broncos so high.
I love my Bronco but wouldn't even consider it at $59,000.

Thats why you see so many on the lots now, anyone who actually wanted it from the start has gotten theirs, now anyone who wants one cant afford it or doesnt want to pay this much, especially since the quality hasnt improved

Not true in my area. In my area, a quick check of 2 Ford dealers shows:
  • Dealer 1: Zero Broncos and 2 Braptors
  • Dealer 2: 2 Broncos (both 4dr) and 1 Braptor

Now that people who wanted and waited have them, I'm wondering if Ford is going to try and sell a whole lot more un-Squatched Broncos to the causal buyers (non orders). Which of course drops the price considerably.

With that said, if I build my Bronco - it comes up the same price  ;) 🤣
As long as Xplan pricing is still going strong - which was an awesome found bonus for me.

Ford.ca still is only allowing build and price for 2023 models, but my plain jane no options added Badlands "only" went up ~2k CAD between now and 2021, which considering how the prices on everything have ballooned, isn't that much IMO.

2021: 58,589.00 CAD
2023: 60,685.00 CAD

Here the smaller dealers only have a few on the lot. The larger dealers...a lot, including Raptors. Selling most at MSRP, around Christmas they were under MSRP and MSRP on Raptors. Now they are asking $15K over on a Raptor. I see one I would want but it's 93K which I can stomach but with $15K over that. I will never pay a markup on any vehicle. Insurance, KBB value, resale value does not care you were foolish to pay over what the vehicle was actually worth. (Oh, and those beautiful Raptors are just sitting there unsold).

My 2021 no squatch Badlands High package w/ hard top tipped the scales at just a hair under $52k when I took delivery 1/22. Todays build & price for the same thing comes in at $58,490. 22% jump in just two years.

My '23 Badlands 2-door 2.3/Manual, Mid package was $49,310 last March when I purchased it.

Just did a B&P on the same thing, but a '24 and it came to $55,145. The '24 Badlands does include the 12" display and Modular Bumper, so there's a bit of value there. Not enough to make me want to make a change though.

Just for S&G, I spec'd out a '24 Wrangler Rubicon that has very similar equipment, it came to $54,265.

Ordered Dec 28 2001 BD 2dr mid msrp $41.9k. Price increased 1500 before delivery but I got 1500 rebate check from Ford about 6 weeks later (dealer couldnt work it into deal). B&P about a month ago on the exact same build was like 47.6k. Almost $7000 more and the only improvement I saw is the 12" screen and the BD no longer has the steelies.

I'm glad I got my Base in December of 2021 with the V6 and hard top just over 41k out the door. Can't touch that now.

I was at that price point out the door (with a ludicrous 9% sales tax!) on my 21 with the same specs except High pack.

I've loved it dearly but wouldn't do it over again today at these prices.

My '21 BD went from $47,340 then to $53,025 now. An increase of 12%, and dealers around here are still marking shit up at least $10K. Even on Mavericks and Bronco Sports!
