I have a reservation. But I did not convert the order in May.

Is it too late to convert this to an order?

Is it possible to receive the car this year?

No. Call your dealer and tell him to convert.

Yes, (depending) if your build is free of commodity constraints you can jump way ahead in line, because Ford is going to build bases on the actual parts they have.

Yah, I can't really trust my dealership.
My worry is if I order it today, I will definitely not receive the car this year.
Coz, I thought, the cutoff date already passed in May.

Do you know which model that will be available this year?

I am thinking outerbank + sasquash package.

You likely won't get a 2021 if you convert. If you don't convert you will not get a 2021.
If you do convert you'll likely get a 2022. If you don't ever convert you won't get a 2022.
Edit: this year will be model 2021.

Will I lose my $100 that I paid for my reservation, if I ended not taking the car, because it is too long?

Like @raptor said, you won't lose the $100 deposit. If you exchange any money with the dealer when/if you convert your order then it may/may not be refunded. That's between you and the dealer, but most dealers will refund you.

Thought it was said that a Big Bend was the shoe in if you wanted to pretty much guarantee your Bronco (or was that for a sport?)

But I too would think that the 19th deadline would put you outside the 2021s no matter what..is that not the case?

So could I go reserve, then order a BB today and skip in front of the line?

Please, no disrespect intended, but it seems to me like you’re asking questions you think are the right questions but might not be (instead of just stating your problem), which makes it hard for us to give you the most appropriate or correct answer (if that makes sense).

What exactly are you looking to accomplish and/or what are your parameters? Once we know that I think we’ll be able to better help you with your situation.

Contact Ford directly. They will verify your info and then inform you where your time stamp reservation falls in the “ great mysterious order”. What you order has a lot to do with the big “ when” it can be built. Of course, if your last name happens to be Leno, the computer might automatically push you to the front of the line.

Because internet dwellers can solve everyone’s problems and questions… Duh!

Outside of what everyone else said, some dealerships have requested $500, $1,000, or more down when they put in the orders. That may or may not be refundable, so ensure you ask and get that in writing. In my case, they asked for $1,000 (refundable, mind you) and I said “what about $500?” And they had zero issue with that.

Good luck!

Mine said $0 down. They don't even have the $100, because I switched dealers. They plan to sell any refused orders for $5-10K over MSRP, so they'd probably prefer it if I backed out anyway.
