Cactus Gray IS Green!

Camera settings matter a lot too. I mentioned it before but I actually have access to the pictures this time. Both of these pictures are after painting the room, but one photo makes it look baby blue instead of the true purple.

Cactus Grey and Antimatter Blue are both colors you just have to see in person.

I’ve never been in the white HT camp til I decided on cactus grey as my color choice.
just think it looks dynamic.. little old school mint to me..

I wish it looked like that, it is what I hoped for when I sought one out. It is terribly underwhelming in person.

My wife had no preconceptions or forcing herself to see green. When we looked at a CG Sport this weekend, her first comment (overcast at the time) “it has a lot of green”. It’s got a lot of “flop” in color, based on lighting.

That was my wife’s impression. She hated it in photos but when we saw it at the local dealership she said that’s a great color. We both saw hints of green.
It’s a color that will shift depending on lighting conditions from flat grey, to creamy grey, to light mint green...
I love that about this color, it won’t always appear the same everyday. Dynamic!

I’ve seen it in person and loved it. It wasn’t underwhelming to me.

I'm glad you liked it, I thought it looked like drywall mudd. I sought it out expecting a color close to what the B&P had presented (prior to the change), in person, it was too muted and underwhelming for me. I don't see green, at all, but others might.

I actually counted a month or so ago. It was just over a hundred.

I think at this point we can all just agree that we see it differently. Some see green. Some definitely don't.

Those that say they see blue though....WTF? There's something wrong with that group.

I need reassurance that it is a nice looking color because that is what I ordered. I saw it in person against area 51 and both looked awesome - but the digital pictures showing everything from mint to grey keep me second guessing. I am also under pressure because my kids are not happy that I am getting red of my race red CJ for this thing - so it's got to be awesome!

Yep that’s what cracks me up. People are incessant that they don’t see this or it’s this.

if you don’t like the color choose something else. It’s really that damn simple...

peoples opinions on colors are just that friggin opinions- not facts...

It’s an dynamic color that will shift color
Perception depending on lighting conditions.. I saw it in person with my wife at the local dealership on the ranger and Sport inside the dealership on the showroom floor and outside under sunny skies , myself, my wife, 2 salesmen, and the GM of the dealership all agreed it has small tints of mint green...

but don’t worry come to the cactus grey threads and people will swear as fact that it’s not green, it’s not this it’s this or that, even though they have no intentions on picking the color...
Do what makes you happy and screw the rest ...
