My Base with stock wheels / tires would average 20-24mpg per tank. I upgraded to WildTrak wheels and MT Baja Boss A/Ts in 315/70/17 and it’s basically been trash since. So bad I may switch to something different. 16-17 mpg has been the best so far.
6th gear will be useless with those 35" tires now and will actually KILL the mileage.
Run it in 5th on the highway and it will stay out of boost and net you better mileage.

Around town, you're still screwed. Gaining 50lbs per tire is going to have a bad effect somewhere.

75mph @ 1.9k rpm wtf
3.73 gears & 32” tires. Absolutely fine.
Mine runs 2k rpm at 70mph, with 4.27 gears & 32” tires.

Love it.

My 2.7 OBX with 32” tires & 4.27 gears gets 22+ MPG commuting to work, and has averaged 20.2 MPG over the 2,500 miles thus far, including a couple of road trips.

I just noticed this today. Even though the RPMs we’re higher in 5th, even at 75 mph, according to the gauges the boost was significantly less so going to run a tank using 5th gear at most now to see the difference.

Other than the fuel mileage it’s been a wonderful looking, sounding, feeling, and performing tire so far.

I swear the dealership puts in magic unicorn farts instead of gas because I had 23mpg on that first tank and it’s been downhill since.
I completely agree. I use 91 octane and can't get anywhere near that first tanks' numbers. Any dealers (or just knowers) able to shed some light on this?

I've been thinking it must have just been them dumping in some octane boost, but it seemed significant enough that I want to know if it might be worth making it a more permanent thing.

The window sticker said 17. The computer says 16.7, and I’m a Squatch 4D that hasn’t even had its first oil change yet. I’m happy with that. I’m trying to stay in the eco part of the eco boost most of the time, while reminding my turbos they are there now and then.

What?! The dash display inflates the numbers?! Every time I look at that hot bitch sitting in the garage or parking lot, I turn into that guy who’s in over his head., and knows it. “Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.”

My 2.3 BD 7MT average is 20.6mpg at 2600 miles. If I don't go over 68mph on the highway I'm good. Did a 125 mile round trip at 60ish mph and averaged 24mpg. Computer has been about 1mpg more optimistic than self calculating.
I noticed it crept up a few . points at 65mph

I know it's fine, just so different.

BD is 4.46 with even smaller tires. 65 is 2.0rpm

I am at the high end of the bell curve. 22.2- 2 door Base Sasquatch with 2.7. On 87 octane. The vehicle simply moves, accelerates well with me barely touching the gas. If I step on it any more I'd be ramming people. LOL. I think it's the weight difference between 2 and 4 door and also the lightest weight being base. I knew this when I ordered and wanted the lightest weight Bronco with the biggest engine. But had to have Sas. Pretty good MPG considering how heavy the wheels and tires are and it's a brick in the wind.

I'm getting about 19 MPG out of my Big Bend with the 4.27 gears and the 2.7L V6. I drive about 13 miles to and from work and do about 40-50 MPH during my trip.

I've noticed my gas mileage goes down once I hit the highway and go over 75.

I have a Big Bend Auto with the 2.7, tend to get just over 20mph. I drive nearly 30 miles one way to work on mostly highways, so my average speed tends to be high.

Had to travel this past weekend and the badlands sasquatch 7 speed averaged 15.5. The wind was terrible and I had the cruise set at 83 mph though. I've got no issue with bad MPG, I bought this thing for fun.

On a side note, I was impressed with the lack of wind noise at 83mph. Don't get me wrong it wasn't silent, but it wasn't bad at all. Easily able to have a conversation with my buddy the entire time.
