We will be working on mounts to install a Diode Dynamics 30" light bar in this spot. We have the bars already, just waiting for the Bronco to get back from it's second dealer trip in less than 200 miles. We are also scanning and designing brackets to install lights in the fog pocket on the capable bumper that I think will carry over to the standard bumper as well.

Here is what I used. It’s a bracket from nacho off-road technology. Only says it’s for the plastic bumper but I tried it for the capable.

NICE!!! I just received mine... Hopefully installing this week!
Anything to note about the install? Just removing the bumper bolts, then bumper, then installing the bar and then bumper? Do you need to install the lights first or can you get to the fasteners and wiring with the bar installed?

Thanks!

I didn’t have to do too much out of the ordinary. The only thing that I had to modify were the light mounting holes. I had to drill them out with a 1/2” bit. (I used the KC slim lights )
But yes . Unbolt bumper, place lightbar mount, (might take some elbow grease) then bolt up the bumper. Be sure to hand tighten at first and leave them loose. It will leave wiggle room for your bolts and bumper to align correctly. Oh and disconnect your sensors under your front driver side fender. I broke part of that connector so be careful, it’s fragile.

Here is mine. I have the Diode Dynamics fog light kit from @4x4TruckLEDs.com (great price and service on this one with fast delivery). I also have the M&R 40-inch light bar. The fogs are amazing. I have the "Pro" level. Can't say enough good about them. The M&R light bar...leaves MUCH to be desired. I would highly recommend finding something else other than this light bar. Reminder, you get what you pay for, and when you use the discount, it is cheap – enough said. The light quality/output is not good at all. My brights and the fog light kit I mentioned above put out just as much light (or more) as the M&R light bar. If it wasn’t for the fact that my wife thinks it looks “cool” installed (it is her Bronco), I would uninstall it. My wife’s reaction the first time she saw the light output was “that’s it?” Anyway, just my two cents, take it for what you want, but if I were you, I would avoid that accessory.

Looks good and it's a VERY popular fog upgrade on the capable bumper. Fits like a glove with no rubbing

That’s super disappointing on the M&R light bar. That was going to be my next upgrade. Did you get the white, amber, or combo light?

I got the white. I cannot speak to how the Amber or Combo will work. This is only my experience with the white.

Could you clarify what bull bar that is? And do you have pics of the view from the front camera view?

It's actually for a Jeep but works great. Got off Amazon.

I did something similar about a year ago. Didn’t have the patience to wait, so I bought the zroadz bar for the modular bumper and had the local 4wd shop trim it and drill into the capable bumper. I mounted smaller PIAA lights. It’s worked great, although I wish that Nacho design had been available (without the lights). Round2 OffRoad in Austin is awesome.
