And then your iphone, where do you connect it in order to have general phone call usage using the car, hands free dial from the wheel controls etc? you connect it to the box itself?

You can connect it to CarPlay wirelessly also. You can easily switch between the T-Box and your phone.

i have tried this several times and it doesn't seem to change anything (I am using an iphone). I reached out to their tech support and was told a firmware fix is needed and they are working on it. No ETA was given. I will give them a week before returning it.

I can confirm if you use an android phone and go to full screen android auto, then back to the carlinkit it will go full screen. Kinda dumb, but it works. I had an old Pixel laying around.

I think with android auto you can expand the screen
I have full screen CarPlay unless it goes thru this device. Then it’s back to small/split screen with bronco info on r/s it is full screen but covered by the bronco info as others have said.

There is some hope that it will work either now or in the next update
And pinch to zoom works?

No it just needs bluetooth and android auto downloaded on the phone to be able to connect to android auto

Android auto needs a minimum of Android 8 (oreo)

Ah that's dumb. I'm using an original pixel for mine right now, but would be nice if they fixed it for iphone.
