Yes that thread verifies the different part numbers of the shocks and has the side by side photos showing the reservoir being in a different location. The confirmation on the bumpstops may be buried in there too. The bumpstop part numbers being the same was verified/confimed by Flip from Ruxer Parts who is one of the contributors of the 'Suspension Cookbook" when I was trying to order the parts for mine to assemble the 6112s. But there are tons of post saying they are different.

EDIT: Ok I found the confirmation for the bumpstop part numbers being the same on one of the tables in that thread. They are listed under the Shock and Spring numbers as Front & Rear Assembly Parts and refered to as "Shock Rod Insulator" but I think most people call them a Dust Shield or a Dust Cover and the bumpstop is inside.

I basically went the same route. I knew I wanted my own wheels and tires and I knew I would put in my own coilovers. So I didn't see any point in paying for Sasquatch at the time. HOWEVER, what I didn't know when I placed my order was that the Sas models were getting beefier axles. So if I upgrade my axles, FDU, etc, then I will have probably spent the same or more. But at this point, I'll just run what I have and if an axle snaps then I'll upgrade at that point.

It's not a bad route to take, especially if you aren't out west climbing rocks every week.

By far, most drivers want the look, rather than the performance. You can save a lot of money by skipping the Squatch and dressing it up. I'm a dreamer, and I'm stupid. I dream of having more time to explore the vastness of the west. I'm stupid enough to believe that I can make the time to actually do it enough to justify the expense of the Squatch and other Mods. Oh well, at least I know I will lose money if I sell it.

went non SAS on my 24 badlands, and it's still over 60K. It was just too much and I knew I was never gonna be a true off road kind of person.

Yes if ya are going “badlands” the Sasquatch package is not worth ordering if ya plan on changing tires and/or suspension…lower trims it is a no brainer if planing on going offroad…my big bend has 3 options: 2.7, Sasquatch and tow…of course $15k+ later it is getting pretty capable…🤪🤪

The only thing I would have changed on mine is the 4.27 gearing and rear locker.

I had an early order that never got built. So in frustration bought another person's canceled order.

Only issue was no 4.27 and no AUX.

Not a huge deal, since the M210 doesn't come in 4.27 anyways.

As I always say. A non SAS Badlands is the way to go for most. SAS is all profit for Ford. The non SAS comes with gears, shocks, tires and rims, lockers, advanced 4x4. What does SAS give you? Slightly different gears? OEM shocks won’t last on either. So upgrade down the road. Just my opinion.

Just a general heads up for folks that come across this... that table is outdated, incomplete, and a tad misleading.

Many of the part numbers have been superseded by new parts. And the table also shows different suspension components based on whether you have the tow package or not. That is incorrect. It is determined by the curb weight, not whether you have the tow package or not.

Definitely awesome that the community put that together a few years ago, but yeah... not 100% accurate.

Front only correct? Or is there something I don’t know about the rear axles?

Yes it’s really a shame that in the very beginning Ford wasn’t upfront with what models had exactly what in regards to running gear. It’s still anybody’s guess what the 2025’s will have that’s different. Why so secretive @Ford? 😐. WTF?

Don’t quote me. But I believe it is M220 rear for all models. Then M190 front non-Sas and M210 front Sas. And then your different gearing on top of that.

Yeah you're correct.

M220 rear for all models. M210 for any configuration that has the front locker (which includes all Sasquatch configs and Badlands non-Sas).

+1 here with a non-Sas Badlands in Velocity Blue with Sas wheels added. My 6100 Bilstein's are sitting in the garage waiting for me to get motivated for the install.

And of course it depends a lot on if someone will be doing upgrades themselves or trusting and paying someone else to do them.
Whether they like the looks of the SAS wheels tires and flairs etc etc.
Definitely different ways of thinking depending on the owner. I know the reservoirs won’t be falling off of my shocks for one thing.

why doesn't anyone mention with the SAS package you get the HOSS steering upgrade-- that certainly is a must have
