I bought a 1/4 20 1” ball and cell phone arm mount from Bullet point mounting solutions. Very high quality. I use it to hold my switch panel but works fine for phone too

Any chance u could hook me up with some links for this setup?

If you are looking for a premium phone mount with modularity and the ability to keep a death grip on your phone while wirelessly charging it..

https://www.quadlockcase.com/

These are excellent quality, but pricy. Popular with people looking to mount their cellphone to motorcycles, etc as they lock into place quite securely.

May be overkill for your needs.
I already have a quad lock case for my phone-love it! Guess I just need the mount for Bronco now since only have one for my bike now.

I bought the Tackform dash mount with motorized charger head, and added a dedicated power supply near the passenger compartment fuse panel. Ran a 3-foot USB cable across the front of the dash to connect the power supply and charger, for a clean installation. It made for an easy Saturday afternoon project. With the dedicated power supply, the radio is no longer trying to "talk" to the charger via the console power port (which it uses for wired CarPlay). I installed a fuse tap for position 35, an unused 5A circuit.

Srsly, don’t know why anyone needs a phone mount. Mine goes inside the console and I use wireless CarPlay.

Can’t have Gaia maps up on CarPlay and the cameras showing at the same time. It’s not as it’s hard to come up with valid reasons.

Sounds good. Most folks who drive bronco 90% on road don’t need a phone mount. But I see your point
