Can anyone tell me why the tow hooks need to be removed by cutting or using the other brackets for the intercooler? Do they physically conflict with the steel bumper or is it just a visual thing?

Someone posted a photo above but they physically conflict. The mod bumper sits flush against the bracket without the hooks. Can anyone tell me why the tow hooks need to be removed by cutting or using the other brackets for the intercooler? Can the plastic bash and skid plates be reused with the modular bumper?Main plate is steel reusing small plastic plate.
Did you have to use stands or anything to hold up the inter cooler when swapping out the brackets?I was told they were on backorder but here we go.
Nope. Just unbolt and bolt back up one at a time.Did you have to use stands or anything to hold up the inter cooler when swapping out the brackets?
Itās the substructure since the hood is aluminumIāve noticed that tooā¦looks like the honeycomb that was peeking through ver 1 MIC tops.
With the caveat of "I haven't done the actual install yet", I am staring at all the pieces and it looks like there would be a sizable gap if you installed the plastic front bash plate aft of the mod bumper. The oilpan plate at least looks interchangeable between the plastic and steel versions (although that one is a whopping $90 from most of the parts vendors). Can the plastic bash and skid plates be reused with the modular bumper?
Check the previous page on this threadHas anyone see a complete list including the two hook parts needing replaced or maybe a video for a stock to Modular swap? Lots of parts and pieces of good information but not sure i have captured it all for a total list.
Where is the camera located now? My Wildtrack has a camera in front and all the sensors.Changed out standard for Ford Performance Heavy-Duty Modular. Had to modify a little to get it to fit. Cut off standard tow hooks to get steel plate to fit.
Yeah, the Parking Aid Sensor Bracket Retainers have a different order sku code for each of the four! Believe it or not, each one is actually slightly modified so that it fits a specific location on the bumper They were ~ $6.50 each! I copied this from my invoice:This is what I've found so far (albeit in USD) as to what's needed, and my understanding is there are still some unresolved differences in the clips for mounting the parking sensors in the different bumper:
I think you could do without the last finish panel, doesn't look like a huge gap in the photos by @Strykerwsu if he did retain the original one on his install.
Sorry if this sounds dumb. but you need all four of these Qty of 1 ?Yeah, the Parking Aid Sensor Bracket Retainers have a different order sku code for each of the four!
