Changing Interior Air Vents Tab Color?

Does anyone know if these are easily able to be removed/replaced with other colors? I would love to be able to add the red accent that was shown in this preproduction Bronco

I'm sure they pop out without any screws holding them in. But your replacement color choices would be limited to what Ford makes. I'm somewhat doubtful any other company would bother making them in additional colors.

Ya, from that pic, it looks like a clip on piece. Fingers crossed!

I don’t necessarily want to paint them because 1, I know I would mess it up, and 2, if I want to swap it out for another color later, I can.

Ford said in a video(think it was SEMA one)that they are very easy to change out and it Said they will have one to change too.

Hey @EIGHTLUG Maybe you can make these in aluminum? Would love to see them in Badlands Orange to replace the cheep, dull looking plastic ones!

Someone somewhere else posted a link where someone on Etsy is 3-D printing these. My set came in over the weekend. Build quality is on par with MIC-1. 2 broke during install.

I also bought some off Etsy but now it says they are no longer available. I just got the plain black unpainted ones and they're ok, but they work for the $20 I paid to get rid of the blue. They did take an embarrassingly long time to install though and even though I was super careful I still managed a couple small scratches in the plastic.

I switched out the Blue WT Grab Handles with Red to match the race red paint…..still contemplating the vent tab issue.

Edit: I just paid $30 for race red touch up paint….perhaps that’s my answer.

StickerFab has vinyls for those. Not sure how much the cover though.
