Changing Interior Air Vents Tab Color?

Someone on Etsy was selling them, saw them a few weeks back, but poof they are gone now.

Ford tends to get mad when you don’t have licensing. Plus you get paid for turning business in. Bunch of crooked law firms out there that just go after people “bootlegging” products.

I got a set on EBay and I'm guessing that it was from the same seller that was on Etsy. I got a message from him today that another client told him that they warp after the heat has been in high for about ten minutes so I'm guessing that's why they vanished. He was great to deal with as he reached out to me and offered a refund.

hopefully he can find a plastic that is more durable and heat resistant.

I’d love to swap out the bright orange for red or pretty much any other color. I’d just assume get them from Ford even it’s the whole finned assembly. That little nub gets hotter than a $2 pistol with all the heat coming from the dash at full blast. I put the little cheap stickerfab stickers on the inside bit and that really did a good job to tie it together. I’d recommend folks try that first before doing anything drastic.

I’ll have to see if I can buy vent clips separately. It honestly takes 30 seconds to paint one.

Do you use the rubber corner holders, or does the side grabbers hold it steady enough for daily (on-road) driving?

Side grabbers are more than adequate. I’ve never used the corner holders. I ran the same setup in my x3. Never had a phone fall out.
