Some things you can't 'unsee'. That would be one of them. Just no.

I like Foose Designs and he does some pretty amazing stuff, but I just can't get behind stripping off all off-road capability to turn a Bronco into a street rod.

Curious why is this guy famous? Or worthy of a post around here? Any Bronco pic I've seen from him flat out sucks. Maybe I'm missing something.
Check out the Overhaulin show. His team "overhauls" various beaters (sometimes trucks) to surprise the actual owner and the car usually turns out pretty sweet.

I don't remember him taking a brand new vehicle and doing something like that though. I just hope he starts with a base model and not something like a Badlands, lol.

He is an okay designer, but in my opinion he applies a LOT of the same themes to every vehicle, that hood stripe, on every Mustang he tends to draw, the low stance, on just about everything he does, the comically sized wheels, check, shaved bumpers, check, coupe, check, no tire walls, check. It's as if a Hotwheel comes to life, but not in a good way. I respected some of what he used to do on Overhaulin, but it's a bit old now and I found no innovation in what he drew just there. Just an 8 year playing around, and maybe that is okay, but going 180 that wasnt Foose, it was doing the same thing you do to just about everything. And I am not saying that is a bad thing someone doesnt stick to what they know and maybe do well, but "don't piss on us and..."

Incredibly talented. If you want a true depiction of his work, you gotta get past Overhaulin and checkout his real builds. He's been a part of like 8-10 America's Most Beautiful Roadster winners, as well as at least 4 Ridler Award winners. Each of those share the title of pretty much the most coveted award when it comes to custom show cars.

But...he did miss the mark here.

Further clicking makes me think he's not taking this real seriously anyway........

Not afraid to admit I like it.

Love the stance and using the two-door proportions for a street rod is fun. I like that he took it in a different direction. I also loved his first gen Bronco.

And, it's just a sketch.

Y’all need to put a warning at the beginning of some of these posts... I went in kind of excited because I like Chip... but damn what a disappointment. I think he’s developed dementia or something.

I think Volkswagen has the patent on the Cabriolet. Loved Overhaulin, but I think Foose has been sniffin too much paint thinner...
