Does anyone have any methods or products they use to keep their weather stripping in good shape??

Usually I just straight up don't bother worrying about it, and instead just replace the weather stripping when it starts to fail. But obviously the Bronco has a TON of weather stripping, and it relies on it heavily to seal the hard top and windows. So... needless to say I'm a lot more interested in keeping the seals in good shape than I have been on other vehicles.

Out of stock šŸ˜”

Thanks!! Iā€™ll keep an eye on it for it to come back.
I've used the normal Aerospace 303 on my weatherstripping on all my cars and it's been amazing. It kept my Civic Si's plastics and rubber brand new for the 13 years I had it. Just buy the normal one and use it on EVERYTHING plastic outside and inside.

Doesnā€™t Ford recommend the Krytox for the seals and weatherstripping?

Isn't that expensive?

I've used Aerospace 303 on everything and it's worked like magic. The car dealer I sold the 13 year old civic to were shocked at how the plastics and rubber (even in the engine bay) looked brand new.

I've used it on my 91 MR2 for years and kept my sunroof seals perfect.

I have used Shin Etsu grease from Honda on my rubber for years. I originally bought it because some of the seals on my wife's old sunroof on her Fusion Hybrid were deteriorating, and you could hear the wind whistle. I started lubing once a year, and never had a problem after that. I've successfully used on seals and rubber stuff for all of my vehicles and had good luck.

I'm assuming we can use this on the seals for the hard top?

Yup.

Found it in my basement and applied it a few days ago. My Bronco was built in August last year, and the seals already had shown some wear. Not surprised because they are on top of the vehicle and get blasted by the sun all hours of the day. But if you want those things to last, definitely will have to keep up with the maintenance on them.

Defintely for the twin panel moonroof on my Raptor...have been using the Krytox as it lasts and lubes the seal great. Super expensive though and not really needed for just window/door seals. The TPM rail guides will break if the roof seal gets dirty and takes a lot of effort to "pop" out of place to move.

Thanks! Which one did you find in the basement? I saw 2 products listed above. Iā€™m thinking you had the first one thatā€™s made in Germany.
