i'm color blind. it doesnt look bad to me on the darker colors, contrasts... but on the lighter colors it looks like it's washed out

how would it look on the carbonized grey vehicle

the MIC top with the headliner is $1,195. does anyone know if the $1,895 black painted top has the h headliner as part of it? if it's another $495 on top of $1,895, I'd say no way. If it has it, feel like the extra $700 is worth the wait for black for the Area 51 I'm ordering

That Being said, I’ve asked before and generally was told yes with no details, but can a MIC top be painted black aftermarket? Will a painted MIC top hold up in terms of color?

Anyone notice that all of the interior pictures of the MIC hard top is brown when you do the 360 degree interior picture? Is light brown production? Seems odd that outside is carbonite gray of something that is pitched as molded in color (as in molded in one color) and then the inside would be light brown. You'd think at the very least it would be the same CG color or a lighter gray

This is a B&P CGI error, it was confirmed on another thread with pictures that the interior of the MIC top is light gray.

I want a hard top but I'm just not feeling the gray. I'm going for BD in AMB and the hard top is just not going to vibe. Best to wait for a black version, or aftermarket. That's just me.

My only question is why? Why did Ford offer this in gray in the first place? I didn’t hate it until I noticed it doesn’t match anything! Now I can’t unsee it!!

The black painted top is said to be available as late availability. My question is.... If you get the black painted top, do all the other components (Grill, mirrors, door handles, fender flares, etc.) come in either black MIC or black painted to match? Or does the carbonized gray haunt you on these parts and you have to swap them out after market?

Say what you will but Jeep is a classy, great-looking success story. The grey certainly does differentiate Bronco

Oh yes definitely not dogging the Jeep at all in my statement. More of just making it easier for the Bronco to stand out and be told apart for the casual onlookers. (Whether that is in a good or bad way lol)

I just dont like how bad the grey looks next to all the other black pieces, ie the B pillar.

I could live with the MIC grey if it was the grey on the B-pillars. The MIC top grey in these pictures is one ugly match.

That's my issue as well but I need to see it in Carbonized Gray before I can really have an opinion. This picture really shows the difference. The flares, pillar and door handles match, but the MIC top is much lighter. I think it looks good on A51 but maybe not as good on some of the other color options.

Painted, probably...given the right prep...

Or dye it black or white.

anything can be painted. durability will depend on what type of paint you use. I recommend latex house paint applied with a roller. Should look great.

Closeup pics of dark gray MIC top in the shade and in full sun. The pics look good and helped to calm my anxiousness.

Yea it's dark gray, but at least it appears all the plastics match in dark grayness.

It'd be nice if Ford offered the solid rear panels for the hard top as a a production option
