Has anyone made an adjustable clutch pedal stop for the manual broncos yet? Is the clutch pedal assembly the same as another Ford 2.3 like the ranger/mustang/fiesta?
After poking around for a bit, I can't see where the clutch is bottoming out. It looks like it's touching that plate with the two small holes, but it stops about a quarter inch short. My current theory is that the stop is built into the master cylinder, but it's really hard to see the top of the pedal so it could be up there somewhere.
The pedal is pretty close to that right small hole on that plate so that could probably be drilled out to maybe 1/2" and something approx. 2-in diameter bolted in would catch it. Might look around at the hardware store later today see what I can find.
I'm also curious about removing or reducing the strength of the assist spring like has been done for other transmissions to help improve clutch engagement feel.
